A gift bag I received when I first saw Dr. Friedman at the Mercy Breast Center. As traumatized as I was about my situation, my husband and I had to laugh about the fact that even when you are being treated for a life threatening illness, you get a goodie bag. This "bag"gage was clutched in my arms as we drove home, has been at my bedside days in a row, has been in bed with me as I read it, has been carried to the TV room, the living room, the kitchen table, and finally has been put away in the closet. But you cannot put cancer away - as I found out when complications arose.
